Believing that he would become a pro basketball player wasn't something the outside world always validated. But his belief and willingness to stay in the gym went hand-in-hand in accomplishing his goals of playing at the post-secondary level and eventually as a professional. Now a coach, mentor and international speaker, he hopes his own story of self-belief helping accomplish his goals is something future generations find inspiring as they strive for their own greatness.

"I think it's become cliché term where if we can believe, we can achieve. But it really is important that this next generation coming up has a lot of role models ahead of them that have demonstrated to them that it's possible. So it's going to be most important for the next generation to believe in themselves." Show Less
